10th tribe

It's not unusual when going on LBB photo adventures to end up on a random mountainside or crawling under a fence that is clearly marked "No Trespassing." Even with my occasional law breaking antics, I've never run into any issues...until now! On this extremely bone chilling day, I had not one, but two cops kick me off the random mountainside! Couldn't help but wonder how confused they were by my outfit. How could you not love the 10th Tribe garter tee? Very impressed by the unique coupled with simple style. And definitely down with the 'pants optional' option.

Rolling around in the snow and bouncing back and forth between an eighty degree temperature swing leads to one thing and one thing only- mega sickness. I pride myself on having an immune system equivalent to the strength of Popeye at his peak, but alas, this time it has failed me. I look forward to breathing through my nose again. The one benefit of feeling under the weather has been the movie marathon this week. Getting lost in someone else's world for a couple hours has become my new nightcap. I prefer wine, but this will do.

On a brighter note, I am among 30 bloggers trying to win a trip to New York Fashion Week! A good ol' fashioned blogger battle! MissKL & Fashiolista are sending one blogger and one voter to the east coast so you could be a lucky winner too! Your vote and time are greatly appreciated and I couldn't thank you enough. I cannot believe it's 2013! The reality of a new year beginning has not hit me yet. I will probably be signing 2012 as the year for about 2-3 months. And definitely no New Year's resolutions over here. I don't enjoy making promises I can't keep. I celebrated the end of 2012 up in Big Bear frolicking in the snow. I am proud to say I finally tried snowboarding. I used to be a little ski bunny as a child, back when I was fearless with a death wish. So now as a cautious adult, I was just praying I didn't break a leg or lose a tooth. Happy to say it was majorly fun and I have the bruises to prove it. On the way home, my boyfriend spotted this epic rock pile that screamed, "please take pictures in front of me with your leather overalls on!" Um, duh. I'm hoping that if you're reading this you had an amazing 2012 and an even better 2013!
