I wouldn't call myself obsessed, maybe more like incredibly enthusiastic on the borderline of crazed fan about For Love & Lemons. Ok, I'm obsessed! Every time a new collection comes out it feels like Christmas. This romantic little number is from their fall 2013 Interview With a Vampire collection. I love that even though the dress is a maxi with long sleeves, the double slits and keyhole do that whole suggestive sexiness thing I love so much. I'm also a fan of Nasty Gal's Shoe Cult line. There's a shoe in there for every type of girl, and the prices are pretty darn reasonable which was a pleasant surprise. Such a fashion victory today.

I've been very into bell sleeves lately. I even wrote a story about them on Refinery 29! That's love people. There's just something that feels so right about having that much wrist space. That same line of thinking also answers why I prefer flared pants so as to avoid suffocated ankles. I had been eyeing this top from Gypsy Warrior for some time so I'm happy it has made its way into my closet. Viva la bell sleeves!

I have been living in LA for a couple months now, and so far so good. I'm becoming more familiar with streets, freeways, and places I like to frequent. The amount of people sometimes does get a bit daunting. And I've had my fair share of strange encounters with some homeless people, but that is to be expected. I think what trips me out about LA the most is how drastically your surroundings change in a split second. One minute there is a bunch of bodegas, then suddenly you're surrounded by mansions. What the what?! And so the adventure continues.

I am so excited for fall fashion I can hardly contain myself. I've grown tired of the short shorts and tanks and would like to move on to cozy jackets and beanies...lots and lots of beanies. It is so fun shopping for milder temperatures, but sadly have had few opportunities to rock anything as of lately. Maybe by like, Christmas or something. I kid, at least I hope so. But I won't let this Indian summer ruin my fun! Many of my shopping trips in the last month have been to H&M which is perfect because I have teamed up with Lookbook.nu and H&M for the launch of their fall 2013 campaign. H&M really nailed it this season. So many hats and dresses I still need to get my hands on. And when I saw the Paris Show Collection in the store I literally just stood there for 5 minutes staring. That actually explains all the weird looks.

No, your eyes are not deceiving you - this is the same playsuit but in floral! I love floral prints especially when they are big and bold like this one. If anything is going to crash my black and white monochromatic party it better make a statement!

So happy to finally share the collaboration I have been working on with Refinery 29! I have joined the My Stylist crew of amazing bloggers from all over the country to bring you fashion trends and tips that I love and I want you to know about. It will be everything from my favorite places in LA to eat tacos, vintage shop, to music I can't get out of my head. Bonus is that it's interactive so I can chat with my amazing followers! I will constantly be posting questions on my newly created (gasp!) twitter. I would love to hear your thoughts and opinions so reply with #R29MyStylist and your answer may appear on my R29 page! I don't think I've ever written with this many exclamation points in my life but I'm just a little excited. You understand.

Get to know me a little better and read my- My City, My Style feature - where I leave no taco unturned.

The eternal struggle of whether to get black or white...when will it end?! There's always the option of - can't decide? - buy both! Here I have styled each color differently but both looks are sure to be crowd pleasers. Also, can't ever go wrong with adding a pair of little black boots *wink wink* In other pressing news, the weekend has arrived and I have been spending the past couple of days completely filled with utter jealousy of all the New York Fashion Week pictures being posted. I have never been, so my FOMO (fear of missing out) is through the roof. I hope to one day go. Maybe next year will be my lucky year. Fingers crossed.

I would just like to note that I only learned what FOMO stood for like, a week ago. So hard to keep up with the lingo these days!
