There's something about the beach in the winter that I love. Honestly I think I dig it more than I do during the summer tbh. Weird? Absolutely.

Ok, let's get to the good stuff. THIS JACKET THO! The moment I saw it I knew it had to be mine. I lovingly refer to it as "Jon Snow goes to Fashion Week." 

It may be a little much for California but hey, we make our own rules. I also plan to bring this beauty with me to New York in February. I'm gonna need my extra large suitcase clearly.

Last weekend when most people were flocking to the beach for Labor Day, I decided to head to the desert. Feel free to call me crazy...cause I know I sure am. But luckily the heat wave in LA (when will you end?!?) prepped me quite nicely for a seamless transition into that desert sun. 

It was two days filled with ADVENTURE! It's not often that I check off everything on my adventure list but check off I did! We hiked, drank a lot of water, saw some fun things, and then hiked some more. Excited to share more photos of my Mojave getaway soon!

Well hello friends! I feel like so much has changed since I've last posted. I didn't realize I was on such a hiatus! Life, yah know? Since the last time we spoke regarding my cautious feelings towards Valentine's Day, I have been non-mother-effin-stop. By that I mean just trying to keep my head above water- but in a good way. Although being busy gives me moments of massive anxiety, I really do feed off of it. I like a challenge and work best under pressure. 

In case you didn't notice, I have a new blog look (finally!) and I MOVED! Finding a place in LA that is reasonably priced and has at least 80% of the things on your wish list is hard. But my prayers of finding a "unicorn" happened and I couldn't be happier. I've only been here for less than two weeks and I already feel so at home. I have tons of new outfits I'm excited to share and nonsense to spew so stay tuned!

I don't wear jeans very often ever. OK, that's a bit dramatic but it's pretty rare. However, I just couldn't resist this pair. I mean, they're called 'Awesome Baggies' for goodness sakes. I used to live in jeans like the rest of the population but I've kicked that habit for a good amount of years now. If you were to dissect the situation you would probably uncover the issue of having a smaller waist, bigger hips, and calves that just won't quit. So finding a pair that fits well is a mission impossible. Plus, stretchy pants and maxis feel so niiice. This is definitely not a self-loathing moment; rather, my declaration to play up  your strengths and forget about those pesky areas you may not be so thrilled with. Cause girl, you look GOOD.
