the aftermath

Hello friends! Since we last spoke, I was talking about heading out to the desert but avoiding the actual Coachella festival. Well...so...um...things happened. The first weekend I drove out to Palm Springs to partake in my planned Coachi party socializing. But then...oh but then...one of my good friends presented an offer I couldn't refuse. And as you may have guessed by now, me and my crop tops made our way onto the Polo Fields weekend dos.

I'm happy to report that I had an amazing time. My favorite trips, or anything for that matter, are the ones with the least planning and a dash of spontaneity. No pressure and no expectations is a recipe for fun. My feet still hurt from dancing the night away but twas all totally worth it.

A trend I've been loving are t-shirt dresses. They really speak to my- I want to feel like I'm in pajamas but also look socially acceptable and put together- nature. All the while having plenty of space after a big meal. Priorities y'all. But seriously, they are awesome. You just add some boots, a hat, or maybe some outerwear and you are GOOD TO GO. Such an easy, relaxed look that can be appropriate for most occasions.

Also, anyone heading to the desert next week?! This is the first time in the past four years that I *gasp* will not be attending the actual Coachella festival. I probably will have major fomo but I think it's time to retire my cutoffs. At least for now. But this year I will be doing something different which is heading to the desert strictly for some party fun! Definitely time to switch it up. Stay tuned my loves!
