There's many to choose from, but a select few that stand out from the rest. Get the apology letter to your credit card ready because they are beauties.

Last season I was all about the Gucci Dionysus which is still very much a crowd favorite especially with all it's fun embellishments for spring. This season my heart lies with the Prada Cahier. Mini bags are in and fringe is out!

If there is one item I wear on the daily it has to be a solid tee! I wear them at home, I wear them to bed, and if I'm wearing one out it better be damn cute. Lord knows the one's I wear to bed have seen better days.

This wink tee is definitely my current fav and great news- it just got restocked! I had to share because I received so many questions about its origins on my Instagram.

New Year Intentions 2017

2017, who dis?

We made it to the other side guys! It's a brand new year where we can wipe the slate clean and welcome new, prosperous beginnings. With 2017 here, I am reflecting on the past 12 months and looking forward to the next dozen.

Last winter I found myself in a bit of a rut. I wasn't exactly sure what I needed but I knew I needed a change. I had recently quit my  job and for the first time in my 5 years of blogging, decided to tackle it full-time. Funnily enough, I wasn't scared one bit because I knew it was the right step in the direction I saw myself going in. I entered 2016 with an open-mind and outlook. I changed my mindset from one of apprehension and caution, to one of ambition and motivation.

One thing I think we can all agree on is that New Year's Resolutions don't ever, and I mean ever, work. But with that said, I do believe in setting intentions that will set the tone for the rest of your following months. I wanted to travel more, work with bigger brands, and grow my business. There were opportunities I myself couldn't have even fathomed but when they presented themselves, my already refreshed, established mindset allowed me to accept the challenges without hesitation.

I encourage everyone to ditch the resolutions and set goals. Without them, what are you really working towards? Reflect on what didn't work last year and improve it. Pinpoint what did work, and nurture those successes.

I am sending lots of love to you and yours in hopes of a great 2017. I have a really good feeling about this one!

xx

For Love & Lemons Truffle A-Line Dress

I am currently in food coma recovery mode after the last two days which were filled with an intense amount of food. I ain't complaining. It's nice to get food other than Postmates for a change!! This year was different because we now have my insanely cute and squishy niece Caroline! I seriously can't stop kissing her chubby cheeks and trying to make her laugh. I definitely am already gaining the reputation of spoiling her but I. Can't. Help myself!!

Since Christmas is officially over I am now laser focused with New Year's and wrapping up 2016.

This year was hectic for most. I was no exception. But it was also a huge year of growing for me. I will enterally be grateful for that.

Stay tuned for my next post with my year highlights and what to look forward to next!

Sometimes a dress comes along, makes you fall in love at first glance, and completely sweeps you off your feet.

I wore this mini to two events this month already (ssshhh don't tell anyone) and it definitely needs to be in everyone's closet! It's the perfect amount of sweet, sexy, and sassy. And pink velvet? Game over.

I can't believe it's already mid December. Time never fails to fly by and blow my mind. I'm managing to keep my head above water amiss the mountain of things on my to-do list. It almost feels like the calm before the storm to be honest.

So hopefully you babes are conquering the holidays so far. Remember to take deep breaths, make your loved ones the priority, and that online shopping is your bff.

Revolve: Grlfrnd Denim

I've been getting a lot of compliments on this particular pair of denim and I am not surprised- they are ugh-mazing!

So definitely need to give credit where credit is due. I've talked about them in a previous post but twice is always nice. My current go-to when it comes to jeans is GRLFRND denim from Revolve

The fits and cuts are so perfectly flattering and on trend. When it comes to jeans I usually have to concede on something whether that be a droopy crotch or a waistline that doesn't exactly fit. But with GRLFRND? Nah.

They don't get baggy after one wear, the waist fits like a dream, and the crotch is anything but sad and saggy.

My closet is filled with far too many ill fitting pieces that just collect dust. It's no surprise that I wear the same few pairs on heavy repeat. So, I am making a conscious effort not to go for any old pair. Be picky! Clutter is the enemy! Ok end rant.

Below I have listed my outfit deets + 5 of my current favorite GRLFRND pieces. Hope you love them as much as I do!
