Sephora Holiday Fragrance Pick

If you’re like me, you like to switch up your scent season to season. To celebrate the magic of fall and winter, I’ve teamed up with Sephora to share my pick for favorite Holiday Fragrance!

Ready for something warm and spicy? My pick is the forever classic and addictive YSL Black Opium.

I always seem to come back to this scent from Yves Saint Laurent because it’s what I associate with young, modern, and feminine. The key notes are coffee, white flowers, and vanilla. The smell is super seductive and rich but not over-powering.

Do you like convenience and not wasting time? Same. That’s why without fail I always do my fragrance shopping at Sephora. They literally have every option, size, and price range. One hesitation I hear a lot when it comes to buying a new fragrance is that it can be expensive. But it doesn’t have to be! The rollerball versions can be found for under $30. Summer Scents with Sephora

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, I LOVE SUMMER! The weather, the energy, the long days and crazy nights!

In honor of my favorite season, I’ve teamed up with Sephora to talk about their newest Clean Reserve scent ‘Acqua Neroli’ and how it reminds me of my favorite summer moments. 

This scent really does capture the essence of the season: it’s bright with floral citrus notes along with my other favorite scent of jasmine. Are you longing for the beach yet?!

I have so many amazing memories from around this time of year. But funnily enough, one that sticks out in my mind would be from high school! When the school year would be drawing closer to the end, and the weather was gorgeous, my girlfriends and I would sometimes ditch our last class and drive over to beach. Since it was always spontaneous we would literally be sitting on the beach in our school uniforms! Haha, oh memories.

Sephora Fragrance Find: Nest Black Tulip

Every season I like to switch things up. Whether that's with my hair (hello short cut I love you), my wardrobe, or in this case- my scent!

One thing that remains the same is the fact that Sephora will always be my go-to for finding new fragrances. Ok I know what you're thinking...why? Finding a new scent can be tough so the trick is to shop somewhere that has the most variety but also doesn't leave you feeling overwhelmed. I love that Sephora carries all the iconic, big names we are familiar with but also houses a selection of cool, niche fragrances that have interesting stories behind them. You can weigh in on all your options and make the best decision before buying. I never suffer from fomo there. 

A fragrance that has been on my radar and I am so happy to finally  try is NEST Black Tulip. Think warm florals, black amber plums, and Japanese violet. Do I have your attention yet? So amazing!

What draws me to it is the perfect mix of sophistication, fun, and flirtiness. The fragrance is rich but not overwhelming which is major when choosing a scent for me. It's a seductive, warm, peppery fragrance so I could see myself wearing this during the evenings for a night out. I love having a warm floral as an option! 

NEST Black Tulip will definitely be tucked away in my purse or in my carry-on during trips all summer long. I love discovering new scents and honestly when you know...you know. This one is a keeper.

Sephora Glotions: Clarins

When the temperatures heat up we tend to wear less, including makeup. The last thing I want is for my face to slip off. To accomplish this, skin care should be at an all time high. The more you do here, the less you need to do there. 

On top of my list, with sunscreen, is a great moisturizer. Ideally one that contains both. Today I'm focusing on an amazing moisturizer from Clarins called Multi-ActiveDay Cream that (yay) has both! There's a lot  to love. First it tackles fine lines, those pesky things that haunt our under eyes, forehead, and for me, around my mouth. Literally the bane of my existence! Multi-Active Day Cream has teasel which is a root extract that works to protect your skin where it needs it the most from harmful UVA/UVB rays. With life and all the daytime stress we go through, this will give you a healthy, radiant glow!

My moisturizing routine starts off every morning and ends every night. I apply it all over my face and neck with a clean cloth in an upward, circular motion. Get all up in those pores! Make sure when you're applying around the eyes to be ever-so-gentle. The skin is very thin in those areas so I suggest tapping lightly.

A great moisturizer is such an easy shortcut to healthy glowing skin. Ok, brb time to tackle summer!
