Definitely feeling the glitz, glam, rocker vibes with this one! Line & Dot made this jumpsuit last summer that I absolutely freaked over the cut! Got so many compliments when I wore it out. Lucky for me they made it again but this time in this amazing velvet print for fall. I usually am not a huge fan of cut-outs but these are done so right. I'm crossing my fingers they come out with more colors/prints for spring!

Here I glammed it up with my favorite layering pieces from Child of Wild and my trusty shag cardigan (on super sale right now-link below!). Of course couldn't leave the house without some Little Black Boots.

What have been some of your favorite looks or trends this winter? Leave a comment below and let me know what you're loving!

DVF x Little Black Boots Christmas

I know Christmas was on Friday but I can explain my tardiness with this post- I was busy having fun! Or should I say busy eating. Good grief you guys. Christmas gluttony is a real thing. I was literally uncomfortably full for three days straight.

Overeating aside, my Christmas this year was far from what I've known to be Christmas, well, my entire life. I'm sure some of you can relate- siblings get married and have to alternate holidays, people go out of town, people work...the list goes on and on. But the point is getting everyone in the same room gets increasingly more difficult as we get older. Me a few years ago probably would get really sad but 2015 Jill gladly embraces it. I was able to spend quality one-on-one time with my mom and dad where the focus wasn't on gifts and a lot of hoopla. It was really nice!

On top of that, I am happy to report that my annual cookie decorating party with my friends went super well. So much laughter and ridiculousness. I'm walking away from this Christmas a happy camper. Very little stress and a whole lot of love.

I hope you all had an amazing holiday with your loved ones! Now on to New Year's! Not sure what I'm going to wear but I heart this DVF jumpsuit so much it's definitely a contender. We shall see!

Nasty Gal Holiday II

I've never been one to plan super far ahead. I love spontaneity and surprises. But sometimes this little habit of mine bites me in the booty when it comes to New Years. Case in point: I have no clue what I'm doing for New Year's Eve.

For those of you that are older/out of college, I'm sure you can relate to the fact that it is SO difficult to rally all your friends to commit to one plan as you get older. I semi-attempted to get a trip together a month ago that ended with much fail. But with that said, New Year's shouldn't be a huge ball of stress. Much like life and relationships, it all will work out! So, for that magical night you're bound to have, I've put together another Nasty Gal must-have list of pieces to wear while you welcome 2016 (pssst...my outfit is on sale!). Let me know what styles you're digging this year!

Urban Holiday with Kelsi Dagger Brooklyn

It probably comes at no surprise that I am obsessed with shoes. Hats and shoes- I can't get enough. If there is one thing I can't stand on my feet is poor quality footwear. If they are uncomfortable or feel like they will disintegrate after a few wears I am not a fan. When it comes to the thing between you and the ground- don't skimp out!!

For those reasons and many more, I gravitate towards quality lines that will make me feel great, won't break the bank, and are worth the investment. One of my longtime favorites is Kelsi Dagger Brooklyn. I was first introduced to the brand when I saw another blogger friend of mine wearing a pair of their amazing heels. I even stopped a girl in the middle of a store one time to ask where her sandals were from and yep, you guessed it, Kelsi Dagger Brooklyn

The pair I'm wearing here is called the Kristie and they are so comfortable!! Instant love when I saw the triple buckles. I'll be wearing these all through the winter and into the warmer months. From jeans to mini skirts! What do you look for in shoes?? I would love to know so leave a comment below!
