LA is smack-dab in the middle of one hell of a heat wave. People are losing their damn minds. Usually I'm a huge baby when temperatures rise or fall too far from my preferred temperature, but this go around I'm pretty...OK. Has hell finally frozen over? This week is a busy one for me. The rest of May is in fact going to be quite hectic. I have a few fun projects in the works so stay tuned my friends! Now back to shoving my head in the freezer.

I think it's safe to say that bells have caught on like wild fire. I used to live in maxis because they were comfortable and non-constricting. A girl likes a little after-meal space if you know what I mean. I spat on the idea of pants, yet, here I am. Those are pants if I do say so myself. I wear the black velvet variety almost every day but I am infatuated with the prints. FINALLY got my grubby little paws on some Novella Royale. The lady that started the addiction for all. Am I too boho for Soho? I think we all know the answer to that.

I am currently writing this on a plane to Oakland from LA- wedding bound! My college roommate is getting married after dating her fiancé for I believe 37 years. There goes me exaggerating again. But for real, they’ve dated for almost 10 years. Insanity! I met Melina in San Diego when we both transferred to SDSU and found ourselves being dorm mates. She was absolutely the ideal roommate for me. Our sense of humor and capacity for minimal partying were pretty similar. Plus she loved falling asleep to Gilmore Girls too. For the next 3 years we shared a cable bill and now I get to see her be a bride! I love visiting northern California so I’ll definitely be sharing my weekend trip and wedding shenanigans on my Instagram. Brb, gotta hit the dance floor.

 I'm not sure if I've ever shared this vital piece of information about myself but - I love parks. I know, important stuff man. I love laying in the grass on sunny days. If there happens to be a picnic even better. It's like laying out on the beach minus the water and sand up your bum. Ok so it's nothing like laying out on a beach but you catch my drift. Decided to get playful with prints to match my mood. Viva la crop top!

Hope everyone had a delightfully pleasant Easter weekend! I spent mine back home in Orange County with friends and family. I will forever love coming back to my mom's house. It's the only house I lived in growing up which I appreciate so much now being older. It's a very comforting feeling to have a very identifiable piece of my childhood and memories. My old room is absolutely my safe place. Happiness is four pink walls and a giant stuffed teddy bear. But alas, the real world always beckons and I'm back in LA doing the damn thang. My bedroom walls are no longer pink, but I find this place pretty neat nonetheless.
