Find Your Best Dress: Topshop

It happens to all of us. Time and time again a special occasion creeps up and we are left last minute scrambling to find THE perfect dress. For me that always seems to be the case when it comes to...weddings! 

Spring means love is in the air and wedding season is in full bloom. I currently have my first one lined up in a couple weeks and wanted to share with you this look I put together from Topshop that I think is perfect for any nuptials. 

When it comes to finding a dress, I always turn to Topshop first. From maxis to minis and everything in between, you will absolutely find the perfect dress to fall in love with. The reason I love their selection and why I keep coming back for more is they are without fail always on trend. For instance, this season I am infatuated with ruffles. I always associated ruffles with daytime dresses, but hello I was so wrong. 

The long sleeves and bodycon make it evening appropriate but the floral keeps it fun and flirty. Literally exactly what I was looking for! I added a pop of blush (favorite color of the season!!) and some pom-pom heels that I also plan to wear with denim cutoffs and a tee. 

So rest easy ladies. Whether it's for a wedding, date night, or festival- Topshop has your perfect dress waiting for you!

LBB Lust List: Embroidered Denim

Whether you are into skinny, mom fit, or flared, this spring the biggest denim trend isn't about the fit of jeans you prefer, but how they are embellished! To be more specific very chic embroidery can be spotted on denim seen on the runways of fashion week to your favorite street style ladies. 

I personally have fallen hard for this trend. It's given my beloved mom jeans an updated look for spring and comes at the perfect time when color seems to be all the rage. I swear, when it comes to rules this season- there aren't any. FUN!

I know trying something new can be a little daunting so I've listed my favorite styles below.

The 5 Designer Bags You'll be Seeing A Lot of This Spring

You've probably noticed an influx of designer bags flooding your Instagram feed lately. It's the new darling accessory to any fashion girl in-the-know. There's many to choose from, but a select few that stand out from the rest. Get the apology letter to your credit card ready because they are beauties.

Last season I was all about the Gucci Dionysus which is still very much a crowd favorite especially with all it's fun embellishments for spring. This season my heart lies with the Prada Cahier. Mini bags are in and fringe is out!

The 3 Easy Pieces for a Guaranteed Killer Spring Look

There are certain combinations with outfits that I find always hit the mark. Since the temperatures have risen, I have been drawn to one look in particular: 

+ Denim Skirt

+ Statement Blouse 

+ Mules 

It is so crazy simple but I find the best outfits are the one's that are completely effortless. Much like a simple t-shirt and jeans combo, the denim skirt/statement blouse look is appropriate for tons of occasions and is understatedly sleek. I wore something very similar while in Colombia in a recent post.

I love adding mules to elongate the legs since I suffer from long torso, short leg syndrome *cue world's tiniest violin*. And then of course a statement bag.

LBB Lust List: Betches Wink and Lashes Tee

If there is one item I wear on the daily it has to be a solid tee! I wear them at home, I wear them to bed, and if I'm wearing one out it better be damn cute. Lord knows the one's I wear to bed have seen better days. 

This wink tee is definitely my current fav and great news- it just got restocked! I had to share because I received so many questions about its origins on my Instagram.

LBB Travels: Colombia with Maaji Swimwear

I am still coming down from my Colombia high. What a trip it was! I can't stop gushing about the whole experience. The ladies from Maaji Swimwear went above and beyond to make all of our first time's in Cartagena, Colombia one to remember. 

The streets of Cartagena are lively and filled with colorful buildings. So it comes as no surprise that we spent most of our days exploring and taking it all in!

Our #Maajihouse was a literal DREAM! Tucked right in the middle of town, we were a stone's throw away from the best restaurants and shopping. 

When we weren't eating the incredible meals they cooked up for us each day, we spent most of our leisure time by the pool or sunning on the rooftop deck. Also the scene of our epic dance class where I realized I am not great at remembering steps. Freestyle forever!

On the second day we took a boat to our own little private Maaji beach. It was absolutely my favorite day! The ladies had everything set up to perfection for us. The water was warm and I couldn't stop floating in it. 

Later that night we headed back into town for some drool worthy pizza! Here I am again coordinating my outfit to the surroundings. Obsessed.
