This was my second time visiting this beautiful city and if I learned anything it was that no matter how much you plan you really can't see it all. I went with a list of things to do, places to visit, and a restaurant list as long as a CVS receipt.
But between squeezing in shows, events, meeting up with friends + my desire to go vintage shopping, there really wasn't enough time in the day.
Oh did I mention I had severe jet-lag the ENTIRE time? That was super fun. **note to self: melatonin is not your friend** But even with the dreary winter weather it's hard not to be in complete awe at all times.
As I mentioned before, I really wanted to go vintage shopping during my visit. I was able to dedicate one day during my week there to accomplish this and in my next post will be sharing exactly where I went- STAY TUNED!
SONY XB32 EXTRA BASS Portable BLUETOOTH Speaker

Sony provided me the XB32 EXTRA BASS Portable BLUETOOTH Speaker to try out and it absolutely blew my mind! It's like taking that festival feeling with you with big party sounds that truly feel like you're hearing live music.
First thing you'll probably notice are the party lights. Yes, I said it, party lights. The SRS-XB32 has multi-colored flashing lights that sync to the beat and a flashing strobe. You can change the color of the line light that goes around the speaker to suit your mood.
Battery life is important to me because I like to bring a portable speaker with me when I travel, go on shoots, and when I'm having a dance party in a hotel room.
Other things to note about this speaker if you're in the market for a new one is the the USB port for charging and the Fiestable app6 fthat allows you to control the lighting on the SRS-XB32 as well as being able to use motion control gestures on your smartphone screen.

I'll admit, I'm not the fastest at getting ready. The struggle is always real. - Shake the can well and dispense a small amount into your fingertips
- Section your hair and start with a small amount
- Apply to DRY hair at the roots and rub it in
- Brush out and style as you like. Your hair may feel a little damp after you apply, but don’t worry, that’s normal. It’s just the foam doing its thing and it dries quickly.
- Hold the can 6-8 inches away from your hair for optimal coverage. DON’T hold the can too closely to your hair.
- Spray from the mid-lengths & downwards on dry hair. DON’T spray at your roots.

If there's a combo that is white hot right now it is sneakers with dresses. It's a relaxed, cool girl vibe with minimal effort. Imagine. this look with heels? Completely different!
So happy I was introduced to this pair of Reebok Vintage Club C 85. I fell in love instantly with the vintage, 90's feel that is very on trend right now. It's the classic Reebok look with the Union Jack symbol along the side with no excess or riffraff.
No matter how pairs of sneakers I get, I without a doubt always gravitate to ones that are simple with clean lines.
Wear them with a dress running around town, with jeans to the Farmer's Market, or with leggings at the airport. You also can't beat the price point!

No outfit is complete without a good pair of sunglasses, that is just a fact! It's pretty crazy how such a small accessory has the ability to take a look to the next level. I'm partnering with Ray-Ban and Nordstrom to showcase the iconic sunglasses brand that I have been wearing for literally over a decade.
My favorite pair is definitely Ray-Ban's Hexagonal Flat Lenses (I have them in 2 colors and I love them!).
This summer I am so happy to support Ray-Ban's message #ProudToBelong. 2019 has definitely been a transformative year for me thus far. I've gone through huge life changes that have really made me reflect on the person I am and where I've come.
When I reflect on my past, I've always had an underlining feeling that I didn't belong - whether that was being a minority growing up in a predominantly white area, or working in an industry where the beauty standard is so high and not feeling like I fit the traditional mold.
One great bonus of getting older is feeling more comfortable in your own skin (the hype is real guys)! I've been forced to really look in the mirror and confront all the insecurities that I've heavily carried on my back for years. I can proudly say I've come a long way from that shy teenager in high school or timid wallflower in college to not be afraid to walk into a room and own it.
If I could give my younger self advice, well, I could pretty much write a whole book on it!
We're halfway through 2019 and I have a good feeling it will only get better from here!
