Took a little drive to Mt. Baldy recently for a mini day-cation. Along the way, we stumbled upon a picturesque little spot with a stream and trees that provided the perfect backdrop to snap some photos- because what goes with polka dots better than trees?- Nothin. It was definitely chilly so thankfully I was wearing tights- which I snagged within 10 minutes of wearing of course. Being there I immediately reverted back to being 8 years old. The frolicking potential was extremely high. Finally we made our way up the hill and I got to see my first glimpses of snow! I plan to conquer that very snow this winter and attempt snowboarding. Until then I will just admire from a distance and drink a beer on a chair lift. Actually, that idea lasted all of two seconds when we realized that hot chocolate in a warm room was an option. Moose heads included.
