Greetings from Costa Rica! Lucky me I was able to escape from the real world for a couple of weeks to meet up with my much missed boyfriend and galavant around this wonderful country. Took these photos at my first stop- Santa Teresa. It's a small beach town with a great vibe. While there I finally gave into allowing my skin to be tan(ner), explored the town and beaches on the back of an ATV, hiked to a waterfall, and ate an abundance of local grub. Rice and beans will never get old in my opinion. I believe I have adapted to Costa Rican living quite easily. Not a whole lot of clothes and anything more than sandals is just silly. Makeup? Fuh-get about it. I don't know if I would feel comfortable wearing these shorts, or denim underwear as I like to call them, anywhere else. Intense heat and frizzy hair just seem to compliment them so well. So far my trip has been exciting and adventurous with the added bonus of meeting a ton of awesome people. From fellow travelers to locals, everyone here is so damn nice! And so the adventure continues!
