This past Sunday I finally made it to the Pasadena Flea Market. I have been wanting to go since I was 17 which is crazy because I'm...let's just say a little bit older than that. Although we had to deal with a flat tire (ugh), thanks to my handy boyfriend we had plenty of time to see what this place had to offer! Aside from the baby head lamps- which is an obvious staple in every home- there was endless amounts of great quirky home furnishings and knick knacks galore. My only goal of the day was to find some cool old T-shirts and maybe, if I was lucky, some boots. Rack after rack I was left unfulfilled and discouraged until alas, I found it! It was everything I wanted- Harley Davidson, small but not too small, and a faded black. My excitement came to a screeching halt when I was told it was $225. Pardon moi?! I guess that's the going rate for vintage these days. I didn't leave with too much this trip because I made the amateur mistake of not bringing enough cash, cash, and more cash. Lesson learned. Not only is the flea market a great way to spend your Sunday shopping, but it is also a great place for people watching. I have never seen so many well dressed people in one concentrated place! Until we meet again Rose Bowl.
