The other day I visited my friend Kristine from Hard Couture at her downtown office. She was having a pop-up sale so I got to check out the goods and snag the shark tooth necklace I had been eyeing. Always nice seeing so many lovely things in arms reach. Downtown is a very strange place to me. Like most downtowns, it is a hodgepodge of all sorts of people. We even saw about 10 Amish people walking down a graffiti lined street. What are you doing here?! I suspect it was a way to affirm to their small children that the world is a scary, dirty place. That area is even overwhelming for me so I can't imagine what they were thinking. Probably to run like hell.
