I first set sight on this dress at Coachella of this year. A tall, blonde goddess walked in my line of vision wearing it and I've been hooked ever since. When it comes to my style I wouldn't consider myself, well, "modest." I also cringe at the thought of being overtly sexy. I live by the old adage of if you're going to show something on top, don't show anything on the bottom. And vice versa. Case and point: a maxi with lace panels all. the. way. down. It's all a balance act!

Pardon the stampede of photos but I couldn't help myself. Had such a great golden hour photoshoot in this dress that on most days would be classified as inappropriate. Such a shame. Clearly something like this will draw a bit of attention (proper undergarments where you at?) But what makes this dress appealing in my eyes is it covers me from neck to ankles but the abundance of skin blocking gives it interest and a-whole-lotta edge. I for one can't get enough.

It's always tough to part ways with my beloved summer but I would be lying if I said I wasn't itchin' for a bit of fall. I also think my season switch urge was inspired by the shoot I did last month for the new footwear line Indigo Rd.

Ok, so this bodysuit. Probably the most sought after item I've seen in a while. The crowd literally and figuratively goes wild. I refer to it as the "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants Bodysuit." I say this because it looks good on everyone. Short, tall, big boobs, itty bitty titty committee...all looks banging. Paired with shorts, skirts, pants...someone please stop me. I could go on forever. 

Kudos to Reformation for devising such a flawless design. Simple and clean yet über interesting without trying too hard. Not an easy task my friends.

I do love trying new things especially when it comes to clothes. However, there are some outfits that just feel very ME. Case in point- a crop, a maxi, and a pair of trusty little black boots. Basically my version of what people call their "uniform."

Amuse Society is one of my favorite new brands to hit the scene. They really speak to my inner SoCal beach girl meets downtown, city vibe. Bonus points that they are based in my hometown of Orange County. So much love!! For this reason and many others, I'm absolutely giddy to be collaborating and hosting their event with Ron Herman. The rumors are true- everything cool comes out of Australia! I recently wrote articles on Mode.com about various topics including a list of my favorite labels from down unda. Alice McCall is one of my favorites. Her style is the perfect blend of flirty and girly. One of everything please. 

Speaking of brands I lurv, this Saturday I will be hosting an event with the new and beyond amazing Amuse Society. We're celebrating their collaboration with Ron Herman at their Melrose Ave. store on August 8th from 3pm-6pm. There will be food, drinks, and good times had by all.
