I am happy to report that I have fully immersed myself back into real life. Only took a week but I've done far worse in the past. The three day debacle was exactly how I remembered it- hot, crowded, and injected with a copious amount of music. My hands down highlight was seeing Major Lazer. I've heard for years how amazing their show is live and I was definitely not lied to. The word enthralled comes to mind. As well as giant, inflatable hamster ball. Say wha? These photos were taken on the last day. This was my favorite outfit of the bunch. There really is no competing with crochet and bell sleeves now is there?

Unless you live under a large rock, you know this past weekend was the first weekend of Coachella. I told myself I wasn't going this year but alas, weekend two here I come. Can't complain though. There are worse things in life than three days filled with dancing, music, and sunshine. After seeing the heavy flow of Instagram pictures during weekend one I definitely feel like Coachella leftovers. People will probably still be nursing hangovers by the time I get there. Save the best for last? Yes! Let's go with that. If you're heading to the desert this weekend have a blast and maybe I'll see you there! I'll be the one dressed in black.

I love rekindling old love affairs with clothes I've ignored for months, dare I say, years. I've had this mullet shirt (dress?) for a year now and barely wore it. Now I can't take the darn thing off! It goes oh so well with the newest additions to my black jeans and boots family. We are quite the happy bunch.

Well howdy April! Hopefully you didn't get fooled yesterday. Isn't it crazy how many people you know are suddenly pregnant or engaged all at the same time and announce it on the same day? Haha, not fooling me! Well, at least not this time. Besides shenanigans, April means Coachella which means Coachella outfits. Even if you aren't attending the debauchery fest in the desert, the festival style is quite infectious. I foresee lots of fringe and flower crowns. Lots and lots of flower crowns. Cheers to a new month and new memories!

About a month ago I did a photo shoot with Luna B aka where all my money goes to. This was my favorite look from the day. Tough and girly all at the same time. Not an easy feat my friend. The nitty gritty streets of downtown LA are always a fun backdrop. I found it very amusing having to get dressed in an alley way with construction workers and the garden variety bum staring. Did I say amusing? I meant terrifying.

I'd have to say this outfit is a great representation of the things I love the most- maxis with slits, beanies, cross-body bags, and gold jewelry. Oh, and don't you dare forget about the Little Black Boots! It just feels so right. This Linea Pelle bag is from their new spring collection. It's the perfect size and has fully become my new everyday bag. Thank goodness because my poor little fringe purse has seen better days. Also madly in lust over my Haati Chai necklace. It kinda goes with everything. I cannot believe March is almost over. It was a fun month but I'm ready for the excitement April has in store. Stay tuned!
