Four Seasons Hualalai

Aloha! Last month I was lucky enough to be invited by Bollare to visit a little place called… HAWAII! Maybe you’ve heard of it? I kid, I kid. It had been many years since I set foot on Hawaiian soil. What better way to revisit the beautiful Aloha State than by staying at the Four Seasons Hualalai!

The moment I walked into my ocean front room my jaw dropped. I could have literally just spent the whole trip in there and would have been plenty content. The view was insane, the bed was built for a queen (seriously though I need comforter and sheet deets asap), and the warmest welcome of fruits and gifts were laid out for me. WAY too spoiled! 

That night our group gathered for a welcome dinner under the stars and alongside waves crashing just a few steps away. That’s probably my favorite thing about the Four Seasons Hualalai- almost everywhere on the property guarantees a gorgeous ocean view. WHEN IN HAWAII!

I realized very quickly that I was very much still on California time. Every morning thereafter I was up at 5:30am. Now here’s the thing…I am far from a morning person. But I obviously took advantage of Hawaii Jill and enjoyed walking around the property before most people were awake. The Four Seasons Hualalai has three pools. My favorite being the “adult pool.” It's peaceful, quiet, and has a pool bar. Are you ready to buy a plane ticket yet? Me and my girl Francis had the best time hanging out there after our day of boating- sipped on drinks until the sun set and the rain rolled through. It was perfect. 

Speaking of our boating day- can’t forget to mention that fun excursion! We were lucky enough that a massive amount of dolphins found us to be quite amusing so much so that they basically followed us around for half our ride! I even jumped in to swim with them for a bit. 

Overall my biggest takeaways from my stay at Four Seasons Hualalai are:

1. You'll never walk past a member of the staff without receiving a warm "Aloha" accompanied with a smile. 

2. The food at each restaurant is beyond drool worthy.

3. The accommodations and views are unlike anywhere else.

I can't say thank you enough to Four Seasons Hualalai and Bollare for hosting my stay and absolutely going above and beyond. Very humbled by the kindness and experience.

Last weekend I was lucky enough to be invited to none other than #REVOLVEinthehamptons! Every summer REVOLVE creates a summer wonderland out in the Hamptons and invites girls from all over the world to enjoy the fun. And not surprisingly, the weekend was magical with tons of highlights. Shall we recap? 

DAY ONE

I flew in a day early to New York to attend the FWRD Men's event in Manhattan. I wore the most comfortable, flattering LPA bodysuit with my go-to GRLFRND Denim. Perfect for dancing away the night because the DJ was KILLER. They even had Cam'ron perform. Throwback!!

The next day we all jumped on the REVOLVE shuttle and made our way to the Hamptons. 

There were two houses that we all stayed in. Each one completely *gasp* worthy. My jaw literally dropped when I saw our room. That day was a bit rainy- but no matter! We moved the Privacy Please dinner inside and it was stunning. It was also our first taste of our chef for the weekend's cooking. You guys...hooked. Probably why we never wanted to leave the house for any meals. 

That evening we had Game Night! But like, next level game night with two hosts that directed the whole thing. It was the perfect ice breaker for all of us that had just met that day. So much laughter...so far so good!!

DAY TWO

The second day started with yoga with Adidas by Stella McCartney followed by a power breakfast. After that, all the ladies slipped into our best lunch attire. I opted for a super cute Privacy Please cherry dress. We got to eat more amazing food and partake in the awesome activations happening around the pool. Mani's, shopping, and massages! 

Back at the other house we all enjoyed the sun and pool. It. Was. So. Nice. So nice that we ended up canceling dinner that night! The plan was to go to dinner at a restaurant but we were all having such a good time we decided to skip it and place the most gigantic take-out order ever. 

But the highlight of day two had to be the 1OAK night aka #clubREVOLVE. Which if you didn't catch it on Instagram, they literally turned the entire bottom floor of the house into a club. We had the most fun. Probably a little too much fun. All the ladies looked stunning in their h:ours outfits! I wore the h:ours Marion Dress which is a next level sleep dress that is flirty but also comfortable. 

DAY THREE

The last day- so sad!! The sun came out so obviously we had to go to the beach. I wore an amazing cherry one-piece by Tularosa.We had lobster rolls and more drinks (Lordy but not me).

We ended the weekend with a movie night outside in our finest LPA. Of course it's REVOLVE so the setup was so picturesque. Massive outdoor screen, blankets, chairs, popcorn, candy and full bar. Such a chill way to end our trip. 

It was so sad to pack up and leave our little slice of Hampton Heaven. A massive THANK YOU to the REVOLVE team for setting up such a great experience. No detail, long night, or early morning was lost on me!

Farfetch Summer Party

Summer has been pretty amazing thus far. You can't beat the energy in the air during these fews months and I'm trying to soak up and enjoy every bit before it's gone. One of my favorite days so far has been exploring my own city with Farfetch. 

Farfetch is absolutely one of my favorite luxury online retailers. If you haven't checked them out before, brace yourself. They put together an amazing day checking out some of the best scenes all over LA and I was so happy to tag along for the ride. 

We started the day by visiting an amazing boutique called Loit that just opened up a location in Downtown. I picked up a Rachel Comey blouse that I had been eyeing for a while now. Will be wearing this one-shoulder dream all summer long! Paired it with a pair of striped pants which I have linked similar pairs below. 

Next we went to The Rosy Oyster which as you can see from the photos is Instagram gold. So many interior inspos my mental Pinterest board was majorly going off. Along with amazing food (and oysters, duh) the ladies arranged ear piercings for us! This couldn't have been more perfect because I really wanted to re-peirce one that had shut recently. As you can see from my face it hurt a bit haha but couldn't be happier with the results. 

After an amazing private viewing of the Marciano Art Foundation, we headed for a sunset dinner at Mama Shelter. The music was playing, the drinks were flowing, and the laughter was carried throughout the night. 

I had such an amazing day with Farfetch and some of my favorite friends. Couldn't wipe the smile off my face even if I tried!

There are lots of tricks out there for creating flawless skin in your photos *cough cough Facetune* but I want to share one with you that gets me camera ready every. single. time. 

My secret weapon is Shiseido's Ibuki Smart Filtering Smoother. This small but mighty bottle is my go-to photogenic product that combats shine and leaves me with my desired matte complexion instantly!

A few reasons to love this product include its ability to visibly reduce the size of pores and give the skin an incredibly smooth look. I like to put it on before applying my makeup and since it's so small and compact, I carry it around with me and apply for a mid-day refresh or before going to an event. Not having to worry about touchups before taking photos is a life-saver. It's as necessary to have with me as a tube of chapstick! And you guys know how much I love chapstick.
