Après Workout With UGG

posted on: Wednesday, November 22, 2017

The holiday season is ON. I love this time of year but it definitely adds a lot more bustle to my usual daily hustle. Because of the added stress (and through the roof calorie intake) I make it a point to work out more and find ways to decompress. Après workout or after a long day of running around the city I think it's so important to find some much needed "me" time. I've partnered up with UGG and SIX:02 to show you just that.

Los Angeles has no shortage of beautiful museums, palm tree lined streets, and coffee/juice/matcha shops galore. The weather is undeniable beautiful all year round here so I feel incredibly lucky to be able to still walk around and take it all in without getting frost bite. It's the little things, you know?

I have will forever be an UGG girl. I've been wearing them religiously since I was a teen and I love how they've expanded their collection with everything from the classics, to lace up boots, to loafers.

I keep a tall pair at home for around the house and this Classic Mini Crushed Velvet pair in my car to wear after a workout class or hike. A matcha latte or juice from Naturewell usually follows soon after that. How very LA of me.

What are your favorite ways to wind down after a workout or long day? Tips and tricks are much appreciated!

Me Undies: The Everyday Collection

posted on: Thursday, November 2, 2017

I was introduced to Me Undies a few years ago when I got a pair of underwear in the mail with my Instagram handle stitched on it no less! It was INSTANT love when it made undies to skin contact.

You're probably wondering why and to put it simply, it's literally feel good underwear. Me Undies is always incredibly soft and in flattering cuts that form to your body. I never have any issues with extra fabric or uncomfortable seams. These are problems I run into constantly so when I find a brand that checks all the boxes, I'm a customer for life.

So it comes as no surprise that I was over the moon excited when I saw that they came out with the Everyday Collection. It's made up of underwear and bralettes you need for every day wear that are simple, elegant, and most of all flattering.

I kid you not, I have the "No Show Thong" in a dozen pairs. I wasn't kidding when I said I get hooked!!

So much love for this brand and I have no doubts you ladies (and gentleman if you're out there) will love it too if you don't already.

What do you ladies look for in underwear? Would love to know if you have struggled in the past like I have!

Living Room Update With Joss & Main

posted on: Thursday, September 21, 2017

I've been living in my apartment for over 2 years now which in my world is some kind of new world record. I've always bounced around every year or so but this place has really stuck! Even though I love my little nest I needed to switch things up.

The task was a bit daunting but I had a friend refer me to Joss & Main. I was instantly hooked! I did a lot of online shopping and they by far had the best prices and selection compared to their competitors. I even found a lot of the same exact pieces on other sites and Joss & Main always had the better price!!

I knew I wanted grey, whites, wood and gold accents. My first purchase was the Erica Sofa. I wanted something mid-century style and it also was a great compromise with my boyfriend. He wasn't going for my pink velvet idea. Compromise people!! We also agreed on the accent chair which also would look amazing around a dining table if you have the space for it.

From there I knew I needed a massive rug to take over the entire area and add texture against the wood floors so I went for the 8x10 size. You've probably seen this Robyn Rug a lot and for good reason- IT IS AMAZING. I love the way it looks and bonus provides a fuzzy, soft surface for barefoot Netflix and chill sessions.

When it comes to looking for an entertainment center I recommend looking for buffets/sideboards as an alternative to a traditional TV console. They are chic but also functional with so much storage. I fell in love with the Rochelle Sideboard!

I've linked the pieces and similar one's down below. So excited to keep adding to my new space with art and lighting.

To be continued!

PICNIC WITH PACSUN DENIM

posted on: Wednesday, August 30, 2017

Do babes run the world? Yes. Does this babe love high-waisted mom jeans? Also yes!

I avoided wearing jeans for a long time because I never felt super confident in them. That all changed when the 90's style crept back in and suddenly I couldn't get enough. I snagged this pair of PacSun Mom Jeans recently and they are in heavy rotation.

PacSun has really stepped up their denim game. You might remember a previous post with another pair that I got so many questions about! When choosing the right pair of denim I always make sure to go for the thicker material. And you can probably tell how much I love distressed jeans by now.

I chose the PacSun Mom Jeans because of the long inseam. To all my long torso babes out there, a longer inseam does wonders on elongating the legs! You also can't beat their prices.

If you're looking to revamp your closet with new denim for the upcoming school year, I've linked this pair along with other favorites from PacSun down below!

STYLE GUIDE: 3 LOOKS 3 WAYS FEATURING HUE

posted on: Tuesday, August 29, 2017

It's about time we had a massive dose of COLOR! I had such a great time styling 3 looks in partnership with HUE to celebrate all things bright and fun. I personally have seen myself gravitate much more to colors and prints this year and I can't wait to keep the vibes going.

My favorite way to put together an outfit is by starting with a key piece then working around it. The focus of my looks were amazing pairs of HUE leggings. I love how each look is so different and has its own personality.

For my first look I was really channeling fall. You really can't go wrong with burgundy and tartan print. I am obsessed with how the Tartan Loafer Skimmer looks and feels. No fidgeting or bagginess anywhere! And you know me...I love pairing a knotted, simple white tee! Leather jacket for bonus points.

Another style trick I love is pairing casual pieces with heels. Take an oversized sweater, ripped HUE skimmers, plus your favorite slim heels for a super chic look. Shout-out to my current favorite color obsession- RED!

For my last look I paired the new Patched Denim Skimmer with a bright yellow crop sweater and fishnet tights. Perfect fall transition look that is casual but still has loads of personality.

Hope these outfits inspired you ladies to experiment with color this season! Which color is dominating your closet at the moment? I am so curious to know!
